I actually prefer this over others such as DVD Flick. Very nice, thanks.

Let me know what you think of it bro. While I agree with what RipIt said as far as preference, I can't say that I use either enough to feel overly confident of my position.

I've used AVSto DVD a few times. It's not a favorite of mine, and right now, not in my bag of tools I use.

I've stuck with dvd flick, Avi2Dvd (a pain, but when it works, it really works), and lately, ConvertXtoDvd.

I'll have to give AVS another try. I typically use Dvd Flick for all of my conversions, and with great results. Nothing wrong with adding another app to my toolbox though.

very new to this area but I want to get old sony camcorder tapes to my pc. I have heard that there are good tools out there to do this such as Dazzle and Roxio creator. I had a Dazzle vhs to pc connector and it did ok but are there better one out there.

Also I tried to install Rozio creator on a new pc and it just hung during the installation. i think it may have been installed somewhere else and has reached a maximum user count.

In short what are the best connectors and software to use for this purpose ?
