    Default Burning ISO Files

    Hi Gang,
I may just be in the wrong section, if i am please move it thanks.
I just downloaded a movie and when i unrared the download, it was an ISO file, instead of the usual "video" folder, here is my question, do i just burn this using IMGburn, or can i convert this using some other program?
    thanks in advance,
    Wheelo

Yes you can just burn it using ImgBurn. Just click the burn image to disk icon.

thanks guys, all done and dusted. Now for the opposite question, If I have a "video_TS" (or whatever it is called) how do I convert this file to an ISO image for burning with imageburn? Again guys, thanks in advance

If you have a VIDEO_TS folder (as long as it is a proper folder) you do not need to convert it just to burn it. Choose the "Burn Folders to Disk" icon. Unless you have a specific reason for wanting your video files as disk images, your life in the future will be much easier if you leave them as folders. Makes any future editing a less time consuming process.

Cheers Ferg, I would generally just right click the fplder, then choose burn using img burn. I just presumed there is some advantage to creating ISO images

No real advantage unless you wanna use something like Nero Burning Rom to create more than one copy at a time. If you leave them in "folder" form you can more easily play them via a video player similar to MPC or maybe Nero ShowTime but there are ways to play them as ISO files too. :cheesy grin: hth ...
