Sorry guys gotta share this and it had to go in here.
My neighbour is truing to mend the fence panels between our gardens. Tbh the panels were beyond repair to begin with and the twit had a hammer in hand trying to put them back up. FFS! He is to tight to buy new ones. I think he tried to repair them for dogs sake. See pix of him fence and panels on other side between us & old boy- they r our, hubby will get new ones

tight git, what cost £80 to replace the lot.

actually Dee they are about £40 + per panel for cheap ones but yeah about £200/£300 to make both gardens look better! Last yr we offered to pay 1/2 towards the fence - but his attitude is ah they are ok they will last a bit longer.!
I wont be pleased if his dog starts using my garden as a toilet

Panel fencing like that are a waste of money, better off doing it right and put up palisade fencing, we put up loads of fencing and always recommend palisade fencing, lasts much longer.

found them at BQ most exspensive is £20 linny.

pppffft Got no chance of him paying out for something like that! he woudl rather get a hamer and some nails and try and "fiox" it! Hes that tight he buys cheap and wonder why it dont last! Dont get me wrong they are a nice couple, just his priorities are different to most. He will drive to his plot of land and stay there over night in a tent which costs petrol money in his big 4x4 ( aprox 2 hrs drive away) rather than do a repair. Hes got an old shed thats broken but full up with the old greenhouse bits etc and wont pay for a skip to get rid of it, but when we have one he wants to put his stuff in it!!! Not a problem if there is room left after we have filled it up!

we do have to laugh at him and some of the daft things he does to try n save money when he wastes other money on petrol etc.
hes got a plot of land which you cant build on so has no facilities ( no water) but will go and camp there in the cold and call it a holiday for the kids!

Kids today are spoilt Linny, What on earth would you need running water for???

I remember growing up, painting my feet black and tying laces around them just so it looked like I had shoes.

We Were So Poor, that:-

People saw us kicking a can down the street and asked what we were doing…we said “Moving”.

The dog got nervous every year at Thanksgiving.
We couldn’t afford Ramen noodles.
We had to borrow a few beans, to make the gas for a fire.
We were so poor our momma used to serve cereal with a fork.
We were so poor, the only things we saw on the kitchen table were elbows.
We were so poor the bank came and repossessed the calendar they gave us at the county fair.
We would go to the KFC and lick other peoples fingers.

Been looking on the net and you can get some realy cheap panels for about £15 - but next door wont think to look.B&Q ones are cheap aand nasty and would break within 5 mins with their boys n a foot ball. Been looking at some decent ones for our side at around £20 -£40. Id prefer to have 6ft tall ones but that would mean replacing all 12 panels ! hubby dont wanna do that.
