Am a newbie who found this site while searching for an answer to my problem. I seem to have a unique problem as no one has been able to help.
I am trying (in vain) to flash a digivox xl with 1341 but I keep getting "flash failed to update"
Looking at system info it says:
Digivox XL
s/w V13-3.2000MP
boot vers 01
date 02 feb 09
Not seen this before so can anyone put me right please.

Hi fellas.
Thanks for replies.
The box I am trying to flash is not the usb version. Have tried 1220 and 1341 but still getting "fail to update flash" message. Never had a problem flashing before but this will not budge.

Turn the box off at the back.
Start the download, wait about 3 seconds & turn the box back on.
You might have to try this a few times before the download kicks in.

Still no joy. Not had this before!
Is this a regular thing when flashing and have you all had this at some point ?

Its been known to happen with some boxes.
Delete the firmware you have & try this one in our downloads.

If you`re still having problems it could be your cable.

all you an do is just keep try the hard boot thing it will work
and as noely says are your sure you have a good cable

What cables are you using? just a null modem cable or a null modem cable and a USB adapter? what OS xp or vista?.
