Eurovox Ex1000 sl

hello guys i`ve got a eurovox ex1000 sl when i try to download the firmware to it after clicking on start and system reset it will stop and wont go any further or it will go almost to %99 and then it will stop i have tried it so many times plzzz plzz help THanks in advance

Hook the box upto the TV turn it on and press (on your remote), Menu, pull right to config, down to system info press OK and post back what it says on your TV.

I was just making sure before going any further, you have the free to air firmware on that box so you will need to update as you have been trying to do.

What are you using to connect the box to the PC also are you subscribed to Vir9in M3dia and if yes, have you had a new card fom them recently.

i use usb cable i have set up the com port correctly it dose say version 2.00 detected .... and yes i have had a smart card from them but this isnt got a slot card

You say you are using a usb cable and nothing else..... I need more information.

sorry i use 9pin null modem cable from the box connect it to the usb adopter then to my laptop

You need to use a PC with windows xp as the OS with a 9 pin socket in the back to successfully flash your eurovox.

This way you can get rid of the Shite USB cable that never seems to work overall. This method you can plug your Null modem cable from your box straight to your pc without connection issues.

Can you use a friends OLD pc that has this com port other wise if you have a PC with an PCI slot going available, buy a 9 pin pci card as mentioned in the tutorial and you will be fine.
