    Could be 1 of 2 things have you set the EMU to on? and what area you n are u getting any channels.

    According to the Nagra 3 Areas thread:

    Blackpool (Set to receive new cards as part of Preston headend 2), so your box be running for too long now until you cant recieve the channels anymore. More information about Nagra 3 can be found here:

    Nagra 3 Explained in Layman's terms

    Since your area is still set to recieve new cards, i'm guessing your area hasnt fully migrated to the new encryption system yet. You can try

    Menu | Language Settings | "quickly key in 1968" | and make sure EMU or EMM capture is set to enabled.
    I'm not entirely sure if that is the correct steps but it should be close enough.

    Just realised, you've just bought the Eurovox EX1000 SL. If you can pick up all the channels then your firmware may just be out of date. I personally wouldnt recommend trying to update the box at this time and risk bumping into furthur problems especially when you havent got much time on your hands due to N3.

    Hi ashie, check the forum first to see if you're area is not already hit with N3, if its not at this moment then it soon will be and you're box will be no longer useable, whom ever sold you the box will most probaly have been aware of the change over to N3, so i would be asking them a few hard questions, sorry for the bad news...jay:thumbs up :

    ok thats probably your problem - your area- see here >>> Nagra 3 next areas - post if you have received new cards (uk)

    Can i ask why you have decided to buy a box now - did no one explain to you. If you are a VM subscriber and have received a new card then your box is def no good! as for the emu try here>>> Eurovox look in the stickied thread imsure it tells you how to make sure you emu is on. Sorry cant help as my box is now "stored" due to change over and doesnt work. you will find now not many work as most of the UK has changed over.
    If you cant get any channels its may well be due to the change over so nothing you can do sorry

    it isn't the eurovox ex1000 that i have its the "eurovox max v" is the same method used to check if emu is switched on. ie:-Menu | Language Settings | "quickly key in 1968" | and make sure EMU or EMM capture is set to enabled.
    We are still up and running in this area no change as of yet.

    I also have a EX1000 and Iv lost all my channels how do I get them back plz help
