help on missing channels Eurovox

hi im new to this i new a fair bit about the eurovox now just need twiggin here and there. what im in need of help is i have tried different ways and i always get the main channels like sky sports and picked up the new one espn but dont seem to pick up channels like gold but picks up gold plus 1 any ideas why

oh and 1 more thing when i do the power scan what settings should i use like symbol rate start and stop for ntl uk cheers[COLOR="Red"]

cheers all it is its a max v plus box 2008 and have read up on it where u do the power scan and press red takes u to a screen wi just symbol thing and the symbol its on picks up all channels but ive noticed just of me had e4 channels and gold is not there poss few others when i do the scan but all the sports movies ones u pay for is there would it be best to do a factory default to get them and would i need to use that same symbol thing or as it changed.

deletes all me channels when i do it and i have to manually put them in only way of getttin around this is doin a update and does find u chanels wi out deltin but not ones ive said and i can not seem to see a on/off favs thing on the power scan or is this only there if u do a factort default first

Yes factory default and scan without splitters on your feed, Edinburgh is symbol rate 6952, start at 100.00 finish at 850.00.

make sure you have no splitters in line cable direct to box and you should get all the ch in

yea im in hartlepool and mine says 100.00 and 850.00 and 6.952 done the power scan on this and did not work tryin it now wi doin default first ill let u know how i get on

splitters not sure what u mean on this mines just the one cable what ud normally put in back of u ntl box but u ***** it in a adaptor to put im other box thats all im usin so dont think its done wi a splitter

thanks for all u help got all me channels back now just need to put them in order i have put them in sections in the favs but not in order as it was all i did was power scan on symbol rate 6.887 and it worked well chuffed i used the symbol rate of the diagram
