well alsorts really it started by not recording and other little things
but at the moment the box switches to standby at midnight when watching and you have to switch off and back on at mains
all info i have read seems to piont to firmware but i need original firmware to test the box and send back to suppliers if its faulty

What firmware did you flash it with?
And where did you buy the box?

ok flashed it with dark some thing
and sky wonder was supplier

Doug, take the HDD out of the receiver tonight and see if it still switches off at midnight as before.

but i have found if i switch off at mains at night and switch back on in morning all seems to work ok
