Eurov0x Factory Default and Scanning Tutorial

Please before you get started check and double check that you have the cable feed pluged into your "RF IN" and not the ANT socket.

1; First of all you will need to know who your Symbol Rate, If you get this wrong you wont pick up any Transponders/Channels so download the list linked below before going any further. (if your on Ch0rus use 6875 as shown below for your Symbol Rate.)

    Symbol Rate List Here.

    Factory Default,

    Power-Scan,

If after the power-scan you do not get all your channels try the above but in (installation) instead of selecting (User Installation) press OK on the **(Deep Scan)** and make sure you select the correct symbol rate!. This can take up-to 2 hours so be patient and happy viewing.

No need to back anything up, you could do your Channel Data File but there changing that much now its now worth doing.

    Glad you found this helpful.

    help! done factory default..

    hello,

after being advised to do a factory default and scan i still have the problem of not being able to pick up some channels.

I cleared the data and did a power scan and it came back with the channels i had previously..

However it says you can do a deep scan, which i tried to look for but there seems to be no option on my eurovox max v for a deep scan? running out of ideas.. its not a problem for me as i have my skysports channels but it is for my mom who misses her indian channels ...

    thanks in advance

The DEEPSCAN option you will find 2nd DOWN at Installation on your Max V so re-check - Press Menu and go across to Installation and Deepscan should be the 2nd option under under Fast Install.

If the box has been flashed with the latest firmware then it should only take a few minutes for the code to update, try leaving it on a premium channel such as Sky Sports 1 or Sky Action for a few minutes.
