    I'm sure it will Aldan.

I must admit that I don't know too much about your neck of the woods but it would be nice to learn some

I suppose it's down to users to feed articles relating to their own areas of interest if they want to.

yes i agree with your point moh, sometimes there can be to much news posted at times and you can get overwhelmed by it all, but as a tech site a lot of the time there are more news stories than tech news released. no news makes the forums look stale to a point. i suppose to a point we are all guilty of reporting news and maybe as members of this site we should cut back on the trivial stuff and limit what we post,

    just my humble opinion

I have posted a few news bits from my neck of the woods....mainly showing how the difference of nations laws are for some of the same offenses. I have read some of the crime news posted, and just been dumbfounded at some of the sentences given....and see how some of y'all on that side comment on what is going on.

I am quite surprised at reading this thread what's going on.

Maybe I have read this incorrect, but are members asking other members not to post on certain subject or limit these subjects to a certain amount per day because they are taking over other topics........

If other topics are quiet because of limited input from members or the lack of members, dont you think guests who happen to drop in here reading news threads or other threads will then keep coming back and also contribute in other subjects....

Please be reminded, we are an open forum, okay we are called Tech Kings, but that does not mean our forum is devoted to Technology threads - posts only,

we had a forum dedicated to Reiki - crystals - tarot card readings, we also have a DIY - gardening! etc, hardly Tech is it....

If members do not want to SEE certain subjects on the forum, for now, until the forum filter modification has been updated to vb4, I will personally hide these topics - threads - posts for any member and then there is no issue.

Just PM me and I will remove these threads from your viewing.

That way those who want to see the news can see it and those that dont like it can have it removed from there viewing on TK.

H i dont think we are asking for members to limit their posts but what always kept me logged in when i got home in the evenings or late at night was that there was a mixture of different threads but forgive me if im being a bit of a lazy git but if you look at the latest posts and its all news threads i tend to log off because some of them are imo irrelevant and what always attracted me to this site is its diversity ,this by no means mean that i want the news section hidden to me because i find it very informative with some of its articles just maybe not flood it with local news

Hill you cant have it both ways, you either like news or you dont, it IS impossible to convenient the news to certain members, to be asked of this is ridiculous!

    This thread is now closed.

Moh and Hill, I have removed the news threads from your viewing.

Any other members that want the same, until the selective forum filter is released for vb4, PM me AS SAID, and I will removed these from your viewing.
