Zamora: New four-year deal
10th September 2010
Fulham have confirmed that England international striker Bobby Zamora has signed a new four-year contract.
Skysports.com first revealed that Zamora was to be offered the most lucrative deal in the club's history, something he has now signed.
The 29-year-old, who earned his first cap against Hungary last month, had been contracted to the club until the end of the current season.
The former West Ham, Tottenham and Brighton hit-man is now tied to the Craven Cottage outfit until the summer of 2014.
Zamora has made himself a firm fans' favourite at Fulham with a prolific season last term earning him England recognition at the start of this campaign.
The West Londoners have now moved to fend off potential suitors by securing his services for the foreseeable future.
Zamora was expected to be named in England's squad for their recent Euro 2012 qualifiers only to be ruled out of action due to injury.
