eurovox ex5100

hi guys
can anyone help tried to download software but jumps from com1 to com2 not sure what to do totaly a newbieeee to this so all help welcome cheers all

hey yeah basicaly thats the software looking for your box make sure its plugged in correctly if its not detecting it swap the ports over

i'm getting this problem to and it won't connected been trying for ages and it's doing my head in HELP PLEASE !

make sure you have the correct cable a null modem cable and once plugged in to pc and box it should auto find your box, IF you have the correct software on your pc.
Check out the fourm for the box you have for full instructions on how to set up box with pc to dl firmware.
Although bear in mind that depending on your area what ever you do may not bring you any channels if your area has gone to N3

i have followed all the instruction and have the right software i'm using a usb converter , it's a eurovox ex5100 pvr box i'm trying to connect to if that helps i'm looking through the forum but can not see anything whichs help

do you know if your area has changed to N3 - have you had new VM cards if your a subscriber check here >>> Nagra 3 next areas - post if you have received new cards (uk) see if your area is on the list - if it is then no point in doing all that hard work

yep done all that and everything is correct i'm from swindon so i'm safe i think . i really don't know what else i need to do

mm sorry have no idea what to suggest, hopefully one of the lads can help you further. If you not got new cards yet then your darn lucky !!

silly question but have you made sure leads are all pushed properly home? and are you needing to download firmware coz your box stopped working.

More details you can share the easier it will be to try and identify your problem.
Maybe go thro exactly what your trying to do and why

it's a brand new box and all the leads are in properly i got cables from ebay so maybe not any good gonna try and get some more
