cable box

hi folks looking to get a new cable box i refuse to pay a subscription to starview and have been told about the blade 7000s combo i only have cable so i am not sure whether this will do the job any help and advice on this and where best to get hold of one greatly apreciated

blade combo on cable does work on cable but i would say its a sub service also,kryptview 780 is free but not the best so not many choices.

thanks for your reply i am looking for advice on how to get the best service @ the cheapest rate i know people dont like advertising the advantages of these type of box's but any help would be grrrrreat
