About LinkBacksI have a Western Digital HD media player and i was wondering if it would play BluRay files, or if i can burn BluRay files to an ordinary dvd, as i don't have a BluRay player?

I just D/L the Blue Ray version of Avatar and watched it on the VLC Media Player. And you can convert the VLC file to DvD flies and then burn to a regular DVD. I'll post a better explanation tomorrow with program info needed to do this.......sleepy

I believe you can Eva. Most bluray files i've seen are encoded in the .mkv file format, and last i checked the WD HD player supports that format.

Suppose it will be the highest quality possible so probably worth it for that movie. As I didn't think much of the movie other than special effects.

No. You would need to download the 3D HD or Bluray version and have a 3D HD TV unfortunately.
