I just D/L the Blue Ray version of Avatar and watched it on the VLC Media Player. And you can convert the VLC file to DvD flies and then burn to a regular DVD. I'll post a better explanation tomorrow with program info needed to do this.......sleepy![]()

would like to know how to that
I believe you can Eva. Most bluray files i've seen are encoded in the .mkv file format, and last i checked the WD HD player supports that format.

Says here it does indeed Eva. In the comments you'll notice someone mentions they had problems with audio and someone responds with how to solve.

Thanks a lot guys, so is it worth my while downloading a bluray version of Avatar, rather than an ordinary one?
Suppose it will be the highest quality possible so probably worth it for that movie. As I didn't think much of the movie other than special effects.

And if i wear my 3D glasses will the movie be in 3D?
No. You would need to download the 3D HD or Bluray version and have a 3D HD TV unfortunately.
