this has popped up on the partners pc, won`t see who is on chat,send messages. im a meter away and she can access her acount from my pc no problem

The yellow exclamation point at the bottom-right corner of your Facebook screen indicates the Facebook Chat tool is experiencing an outage and you cannot use it at that moment. The problem could be an Internet issue, an internal problem with Facebook's configuration or a problem Facebook may not be aware of at the moment. Click the "X" on the open chat box to close the tool, if it is open, and continue to use the website's other functions and tools.

changed IE to Firefox had no problems since.
