No sound coming out of my moniter and HiFi

recently my pc moniter and HiFi have stopped playing sound, they are both plugged into my pc in the right sockets but dont work, i also have a HDMI cable from my tv into my PC and that has recently stopped working aswell. however when i plug my headphones in the fornt of the pc, they still work. any suggestions to fix this?

have you tried just unplugging and re plugging in - sounds daft but sometimes works! my sound on my pc sometimes i haave to twiddle with the leads

first you should open up your sound controls from the control panel and make sure it has not been muted by mistake ,
if not you may need to update your sound driver

yeah tried all the basics, i think its just the sockets at the back of the pc are dodgy, the HiFi and moniter sound works fine from the front on the PC

any idea on how i can get the HDMI to work again? (its hucked up to my tv)

also in control panel goto display goto settings and you should be able to choose your hdmi device on display setting
