Are your backups incremental Linny? Does each backup just encompass the changes\differences since the last backup?
If they are incremental and you change the backup location it would case an error.
Will it let you start a new fresh backup?

The HD it was on the (d) drive is almost full so wont back up so placed a hard drive in the usb port and tried that. So not sure if it will want to start as a fresh one.

The HD im trying to use had nothing on it ive formated to NTFS and EXFAT but neither will do anything.

Icanbe thats basically what ive tried to do but it wont backup on that drive. However will give this a go step by step if i cant sort anything. But i did download Easeus backup tool which looks like its backing up that that drive (f) so ill check when its done to see.
Its not the naming of the drive, it just it would not let me backup. Maybe because backup was already in the (d) drive, but it was full. I did think about copying the backup from the (d) to (f) drive but see how this backup prog from Easeus works
