Google Chrome OS: Available on Bit Torrent

Last week we heard some more details regarding Google’s Chrome OS, for me the biggest shock was that the OS would not be openly downloadable for users, instead you would have to buy a device with the OS pre-installed on it.

Google however released an open source version of the OS on November 20th, this open source version has now been compiled and has been posted on several file-sharing websites.

Two of the most popular sites that are offering the software are the ever controversial PirateBay and Mininova, it seems that these downloads have proved to be very popular.

To try out the OS you are required to use virtualization software such as Workstation 7 or Fusion 3, you must then install Chrome on a virtual machine, for more details check out ComputerWorld.
