Which version of the Sky Remote Control do you have?
Open the battery cover on the back of your Remote Control and look for a sticker (either on the battery cover or in the battery compartment), that includes the text ‘Sky rev’ (or Sky+ rev or Sky HD rev), followed by a number, such as 4, 6 or 8. This number indicates the version of your Remote Control. More information about remote control versions.
If you have had your Remote Control prior to 2002 or there is no revision number indicated, then you may need to Upgrade your Remote Control in order to use this service.
