Just a quick heads-up to let everyone know that MS has begun rolling out a SystemUpdate that brings the dash/kernel to version 2.0.14717.0. It appears that it's being deployed in the usual staggered fashion over different regions as some have gotten it and some have not yet been prompted. No official word yet from Microsoft as to what the update is for. As always, c4eva and the team advise you to be cautious and hold off on updating until they've had a chance to analyze it.

It is always recommended to return to stock firmware before updating to any new dashboard release so update as always without returning to stock at your own risk ;)

With regards to stock firmware - I presume you're referring to DVD drive firmware? Also, is this only to prevent ban, or regardless?

Axxxo, Bobby, do either of you have a simple tutorial for reflashing a hitachi drive using x360 pro?
do you have to flash to stock first? and what is the latest firmware?
this will save a lot of hassle for me when I see Biffo tomorrow LOL

I thought "truncated " discs stopped working after last major dash update? Threw all mine away and re-burned with I-has drive.
