Software error box restarts every 15 minutes Wooshbuild V5 OpenATV

Box was running fine then all of a sudden started with software errors.Running latest Wooshbuild V5,every 15 minutes box restarts suggesting encountered software error.Did factory reset x 3,downloaded latest OpenATV 5.3 3 times from within Wooshbuild and also directly from OpenATV website, lost count how many times ran Basebuild and updated latest V5.No changes to standard software Wooshbuild configuration. Anybody any ideas what problem could be.

The only thing that is set to run in wooshbuild every 15 minutes is movie organisor so you could try disabling it and see if it helps

When you get the error, can you open windows explorer on your computer and then 'Browse Network' you then want to move to /root/logs folder on the box and you should see a crash log. Can you open it in notepad and copy/paste it either here or to me directly via a pm and I'll take a look.

Thanks

Thanks for response,it looks very much as though it is a Samsung HDD problem, testing a USB stick for recordings etc and the problem does not exist,ZGEMMA box and my PC for some reason do not recognise this HDD now so thinking it must be faulty.

Hi,
Cannot see any log information on the box after factory reset and new firmware/Wooshbuild V5 fitted.Managed to replace Samsung HDD with USB stick and box appears to be working okay,no crashes or reboots, thinking it was faulty HDD, my PC and the Zgemma box no longer recognise this Hard Drive for some reason.
Thanks for your help.

i had a similiar issue. with my box it was the external hard drive that the box didnt like. so all the epg data was being dumped on to the internal flash memory. i got a new HDD reflashed with a fresh start. worked perfect ever since.
