Help regarding Zgemma boxes

Hi guys,

We currently have an Openbox V8s, we've had these boxes going back to the F3 in 2012. But have also heard a lot of good things about these Zgemma boxes and believe it would be a big upgrade. Just unsure as to which box would be most suitable. At the moment we have a V8s (with a 12 month gift) as well as a Tivo with Virgin Broadband (Superhub 3). Don't use the Tivo, but heard its possible to get Sky/BT HD on the Zgemma with the Virgin cable. Not sure if this is true or not. I'm fully aware the HD got encrypted years ago on Sky and BT HD a few months ago. Maybe the line would also be different. Would appreciate some help regarding this so I don't get the wrong box. Would also appreciate anything else I should be aware of. Thanks

if you have vm biy a dual tuner box 1 sat tuner 1 cable tuner

with cable tuner buy a cable gift you get HD back on sports and movies and so on

From what I have seen cable ones are more expensive and the H2H is slightly more expensive.

Obviously if you're watching the footy in HD you can't record a movie in HD at the same time. One of them would need to be in SD as it would use the sat tuner.

Hi mate, If you have vm, I'd go for the vu+ solo se v2, twin cable tuner that takes the vm feed and splits the signal within the box to two tuners, therefore you get HD on both tuners. You could use the sat in another room.

Bit over budget mate tbh. Want something around the same price as the Zgemma, H2H could be the best option. But then I need 2 lines?

You'll need two line if your looking to use both setups, either way if you have the bonus of vm services then your without doubt better getting a box which has a cable tuner. You don't realise how much you've missed the glorious HD until you have it back.

It's worth the extra mate, believe me, easier to set up and works well, best I've ever had. one set of bouquets and vix support. If you could stretch your budjet.
