Scrambled channels on openbox V8S

Hi,

My box has recently started freezing on sly channels. I will change the channel up and then back down and that channel will then show the scrambled message. Sometimes unplugging and plugging the box back in will restore the channel but only for around 10 mins. I have the latest channel list and firmware, the correct power supply and internet download at 13.27mbps. Has been fine for the last 6 months.

Can anybody help?

Do you reboot your router on a regular basis? If so, then do as Jagsy says and try another test line, can I ask if you purchased the box plug and play possibly from an auction site?
 
No I don't normally reboot it, just every now and then. How do try another test line. First is my first thread so apologies for the noob questions!

unplug your box and unplug your router from wall sockets, wait a couple of minutes then plug router back in, wait for router to get an internet connection and then plug your box back in
see if doing above sorts it out...if it doesn't then get a test line for a different supplier, ihave pm`d you a supplier
 
Jagsy, thanks for your help, much appreciated. Just using a test Line now. I think it's safe to say the cheaper "gifts" from the auction sites are no good!

no probs mate, yeah auction site gifts usually cut you off after so many weeks, best staying clear of them
