Movie Organiser

Hi all, I made a complete backup of my box to install on my nephews new box, everything went ok but the the movie organiser plugin was missing and also the picons, Wooshbuild 5.3 and Chabs latest sky q skin.
Can anyone shed any light please.

Thanks

When you pressed the green button for the first time to go to plugin browser did you get a message pop up about the Movie Organisor plugin? if so just try restarting gui, hold down power button until menu appears and then select 'restart gui'.

If that doesn't help, on wooshbuild 5.3 you should be able to install the Movie Organisor plugin by pressing the green button twice, and then looking in the Extensions group.

Sounds to me like you haven't restored an image backup to the new box or it would be an exact mirror image of the original box.
Can you explain how you did the backup and restore process?

I done a complete backup of my box onto a USB and then I put it into the new box and flashed it, that seemed to work ok, but obviously it wasn't right.

Yeah I did get a message but I can't remember what is said, when I went into the plugin extensions Movie Organiser wasn't there.

I've don't do image backups to usb because it takes ages.
Do an image backup to HDD and there should be a zgemma folder in the root of the HDD. (Menu > Setup > System > Software Management > Complete Image Backup (something like that)).
Just copy this to a USB stick and flash with that. (You will need to press the front power button when USB appears on the display).
It should then flash an exact copy of your box.

Rebbot the box and it should appear

I'll try that the next time I'm over at his house, thanks

I renamed the noforce to force in the Zgemma folder so I didn't have to press the front power button it just flashed when I turned on the box, would that make a difference ?
Thanks

Renaming noforce to force won't make any difference
All that does is as you said not having to press the power button

Are you sure there wasn't a previous flash image on the usb stick? If you've done it correctly you would have an exact mirror image of your box.

There was definitely nothing else on the USB. The box came flashed with other image and a line would that have made a difference ?

Thanks

Nope, A flash wipes everything on the box and flashes the new image exactly the same as the box it came from.
You did backup his line before flashing?

Yes I did Willo, everything is the same as my box except no Movie Organiser or the new Chab picons, even my timers were in there,
thanks for the help

Movie organiser has a bit of a b*tch when restored from a backup, I don't know why but happened in WooshBuild v4 too. As above, a restart of the box will put it back in th plugins list and working.

The SkyQ picons aren't there because they are stored on the USB and not the box. You will either need to manually copy this folder (SkyQ) from the usb device of the original box and put on the second or remove the SkyQ picon plugin from plugins and re-install it. The first option is not recommended as it will take forever.

The picon thing will happen on any image as they are not on the box, as for Movie Organiser I don't know, but a simple resolution.
