Looking for a twin tuner cable box (DVB-C) similar to a ZGemma H2S - I want to watch one channel and record another on the cable side

what box can I get

Zgemma H2H - 1 sat tuner and 1 cable tuner.

I already have a H2H and H2S but the H2H is a single DVB-C tuner - want a twin tuner DVBC box (similair to the dual DVBS tuner box H2S) so on the VM cable side can watch one channel whilst recording another channel

Also I only have a single feed coming how would a dual tuner DVBC box work ? do I need to split the VM cable tv feed into 2 like you do with a Sky dish

from the pic I can only see a single DVBC tuner (labeled RF IN in picture ) so is this really a twin tuner DVBC box ?

Yes it is a twin tuner. The split is done on the tuner card.

confused on how its a twin tuner when I can only see a single RF in for a single feed coming in - not sure what the RF out is used for, for connecting to a RF in on back of a TV

also the price is way above my budget

The tuner splits the signal internally you only need one input in that case, and if £120 is way above your budget you won't get what you want.

from your advert you said you got it from world of satellite so I went on the website, in order to be a dual tuner I would need to buy a USB DVBC tuner to convert it into a dual tuner

so any single tuner DVBC box like the H2H I have I can record one channel on the cable side and watch another

If you look at a vm tivo box you will see it only has one cable input. Most cable boxes are the same. The tuner on the Vu+ solo SE V2 is the same but with one difference, You can choose to use cable or regular terrestrial. You'r correct in saying you use the RF out to connect you feed to another device.

No only twin tuner modules will do that, I have one in my duo 2 it only uses one input but splits the signal internally, vu modules do it and so do some others but not all some require 2inputs but you can just use a link cable from one tuner to the other.

You'll not get a twin tuner cable box cheap. I'd have had that Solo ve2 if I hadn't recently picked up a Solo2, especially at £120.
