These thumbnails (screenshot attached) are on the download page of the shop where i bought my zgemma H2S.
im know nothing about freesat etc. i am going to flash with WooshBuild V5 do i need to use this stuff (on the shop's download page) as well?

also i need a ccam file for my flash, is that the other folder in the WooshBuild V5 zip folder?

thx in advance for your help.

The images in the screenshot you've attached are plain images for the zgemma.
Wooshbuild has all the addons required to get your box set up :)
Wooshbuild was build on the openATV platform.

Hope you can make sense of this :)
 
Cool man thx. So everything i need is in the WooshBuild folder? Great!

These guys look like they got it going on, so im sticking with them.

Ill be plugging the box in tomorrow. hope it works..

SCD @ Utter Noob..

I am under SKY contract with Cinema and HD, can i use my SKY box as well as my H2S? Or do i put it on the bin and just pay the rest of the contract?

Thats how Im setup...but we are lucky as we are in a Virmin area :woohoo:

To get HD you need to be in a VM area & use a box with a cable tuner such as an H2H or Edision OS Mini otherwise its SD & a BB provider
 
guys im trying a "line creator" im sorz i havent got a clue what im doing, im just trying to get the channels/ service working on my box.

i cant find the details it requires from the services section of my skybox. the PORT number is that from my ROUTER? the user and passy? is that from my sky account?

I am trying to follow to the stickies and forum process, but i cant find definitions of the forum jargon. so its alright sayin, "yea just copy your line file into your dongle" when you dont actually explain what a LINE is, or what it does to a NOOB?

this box, jargon, freesat, and forum is completely new to me, take my word for it, its a minefield if you have just landed in the middle without a clue about what is going on lol..

That looks like a program to create lines using different protocols..

You need to buy a line from a server, not create your own.

If you are trying to run cable you need to request here

If you are trying to run sat you need to ask here

If you are trying to run both you need to ask in both

Cheers Bees. Any chance you can post me a link explaining what a "Line" is? And what it does? Then I'll go buy one..

A line is a piece of code you put in your box.

They are called C or N Lines, generally most people use N lines these days.

A server will supply the code / line , you pay him, put it in your box and the server keeps all
the channels clear as you box is connected to his server over the internet.

It will look something like this

N: bestserver.com 25100 user123 pass456 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Look for the gaps / spaces !!!!

Server: bestserver.com
Port: 25100
Username: user123
Password: pass456

The numbers counting up to 14 are known as the deskey.

You will edit the front of the line so it looks like this

CWS = bestserver.com 25100 user123 pass456 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Then put it in your box and watch the magic happen lol
 
Hi mate i have wondered for a while now what does changing to CWS = with n lines? Av got a c line for sly and n line for virmin n line works fine what would changing it do?
 
If both work fine then leave them as they are. Nlines can be used in newcamd.list using mgcamd with the line starting with CWS =

Since you have both cline and nline best stick with CCcam.cfg
