Firestick

Well if you have an IPTV provider talk to them about getting IPTV running on it.
Add netflix account to it
Get the catchup TV apps installed on it
Install some games for when you are bored.

If you also have an E2 box there is an app you can install which will talk to your E2 box and let you watch programs the box receives. This is great for a TV in the bedroom or elsewhere in the house.

Or take it back.

E2 - Enigma 2.

Enigma2 is a framebuffer-based zapping application (GUI) that is primarily targeted to physical set-top-boxes running embedded Linux (OpenEmbedded based firmware distributions), however Enigma2 can technically also run on regular PCs, but it is not common.

I am finding out the name of the app as I never remember it.

Dream Player! - Available directly from the firestick / firebox.

As Londonfox said your IPTV will be better. The processing power of the firestick is huge compared to a H2S / H2H.

Even the 1st gen firestick had a 1ghz Arm processor compared to the 750mhz of the H2S / H2H.
2nd gen 1.3 ghz
3rd gen being 1.5 ghz
