HD51 4K Oscam freezes

Newbie
I have openvix on my mutant hd51 with oscam.
I am getting freezing randomly every 30mins or 1hr.
When it freezes it freezes for about 10 to 20 secs.
I have checked the oscam log at the time of freezing and the ecms are found and good ecm times so I don't understand why it should freeze?
Any ideas

Has this problem just started? Was it working ok before. What version of vix are you running?

I have always had this problem. I am using latest version of vix but had same problem on other versions.
I have tried different images and have same problem

Could be a couple of things.
1. It’s your provider that has the issue. Try a test line from somewhere else.
2. Your internet connection to the box could be faulty. Try different leads. Is the Ethernet lead going directly from router to box?
3. Your Oscam is configured incorrectly. Are you using Oscam latest from the plugin feeds?

I am wired directly to the Ethernet cable to router.
I am using latest oscam from feeds. I have tried different versions as well.

What I don't understand is why it freezes when the log says ecm found and there is no timeout errors. Shouldn't it have errors if its the provider or am I wrong?

Just try a test line from someone else. You’ve got nothing to lose. Just request one in the relevant forum thread.

Have tried a few more lines but still getting the freeze for 10 or 20 secs every 30mins to 1 hour

have you checked the power levels?
on the side or bottom of the router there should be a 'settings password'
type 192.168.0.1 into a browser and click enter, use that password to log into the router

advanced settings
tools>network status> click on downstream tab
copy and paste the snr and dbmv data here

it should be a table of data showing 24 channels and it'll have dbmv and snr etc, copy/paste the full data here, I'm assuming it's a Virgin router?

like this:
Channel Frequency(Hz) Power
(dBmV)
SNR
(dB)

not really sure what else you can try...have you done a signal test on the dish?

you could ask your supplier for a C line and use CCcam softcam - you'll need CCcam2.3.2 for an ARM processor though - it could be the Oscam softcam but this is a long shot
