Mag with sly broadband

I am using a Mag 254 with Beeeeteee and am looking around for a new ISP as my contract is over, Sly are trying to poach me away from my current provider. Does anyone have any experience with using Sly as ISP and running a MAG for 3pm kickoffs etc?. I was worried that they may block my feed. Thanks

if a server is blocked by a court order then it applies to all Uk isp so it won’t make a difference if your on bt or sky or virgin for that matter. However I would say go to bt and tell them your thinking of leaving and they’ll give you a better deal, if you’ve got no issues with speed or connection then the grass isn’t always greener.

No problem this end at 3pm on Saturday afternoon on Sly fibre but as above I would recommend hustling beetee for a better deal these companies are desperate not to lose customers.

Thanks everyone I move between vermin and beetee after every contract end, sometimes I get a better deal and sometimes I move. So I will see what price Sly offer then cancel with one months notice, if it is cheaper with no issues, and wait for beetee to contact me. I have found in the past that threatening to leave does not work and you have to actually give notice before the retentions team get in touch. They are the only ones who are authorised to better deal than the standard ones that sales offer.

If you do go with Sly they are upgrading everybody from fibre to fibre max for the same price but the upgrades for current customers are taking place between December and Spring so don't let them con you into paying more for something you can get for free in a few months time.
