To get a Vpn router to work with your vm hub you'll have to out put it into modem mode and run a cable from port 1 on your vm to the wan port on your Vpn router... whwn everything is pkugged innand switched on Reset the vm hub (power off and on) should get a connection now on your router.

As for routers and vpn services I'm still searching myself.. I had a cheap router but when it ran a Vpn it reduced my network speed by 90%.. I'd look for one with a decent rated CPU

Found this about how cpu speeds limit internet speed .
this link may be helpful too. obviously there's other comparable routers to these

Hi rapter
Thanks for the reply ,iv just set up a vpn service on private vpn.com about £34 for 18 month contract ,the router i got in the end was a gl mt 300n-v2 for £19.99 it seems to be running ok at the moment with no problems, had it running all day saturday when the football was on and my iptv stayed on and did not get blocked really tricky to set up vpn on router though im not very computer minded....

Just out of curiosity what speed are you getting before you put the VPN on? And then when it is active? The internet where I am isn't fantastic think the average top end is like 100mbps but most people only got like 35-60mbps with standard fibre

Thats my go to travel router - i have it set up with PIA - when im travell to the middle east or east asia i have this in my travel bag.

I find the speed to be a little on the slow side but its still good to have to get over the geoblocking of everything..

Always choose a VPN Server in the UK it will only decrease your speed slightly ( by 5mb ), i tried scandinavian and european all which were poor speeds ( reduced my speeds by 55mb )

I think that's alot to do with how good your router is too. I have an old router with 300mhz processor on board and running with Nord connected to UK reduces my speed by 90%.. I'll hopefully confirm this theory when my Netgear r7000 arrives on Monday
