Mag 322 problem

My mag322 keeps switching off or freezing when changing channels. Have tried to do a factory reset but box reboots as before with all my loaded portals. Can anyone help?

Reset to factory settings
  • Enter System Recovery Utility menu;
  • Select Default Settings, сonfirm with Yes;
  • In Resetting to defaults window select Yes;
  • Information about the reset operation should be displayed at the bottom of the window;
  • Select Exit & Reboot, сonfirm with Yes;
    Note. If instead of Exit and Reboot you pressed Exit on RC, press Menu on RC to return to main utility menu.

  • STB will automatically reboot.

Brining up System Recovery Utility menu
  1. Power off (unplug the power supply) the STB.
  2. Push and hold the Menu button on the RC (it should be directed straight to the STB).
  3. Still holdering the Menu button power the STB on (plug in the power supply).
  4. Wait for (~10 seconds) System Recovery Utility menu.
  5. Release Menu button.

Hi have done that 3 times but mag reboots with all portals loaded as before, i want to get the mag back to as it was when i received it. Any suggestions

Not having a Mag but any equipment will only restore it to the build that is current, doing Factory reset will not restore as it first was, I guess you will have to and hope to find that version soft ware on line and hope it does the job

download this and try to reflash your mag322
http://soft.infomir.com/mag322/release/2.20.07r2/

Selecting software update mode
  • Enter System Recovery Utility menu.
  • Select Upgrade Tools by pressing ОК on RC.
  • In the Upgrade Software window select update mode:
    • Using USB - update file (STB software image) loads to STB from USB-drive connected to STB;
    • Using multicast - update file loads to STB from PC by Multicasting;
    • Using static ip and tftp - update file loads to STB from the TFTP server. In STB, the necessary connection parameters must be set (assigned with the bootloader variables).
    • Using dhcp - STB requests from DHCP server an update mode that is pre-set in DHCP server configuration. Update file loads to STB from server by TFTP or multicast.
  • After successful software update, STB will automatically reboot.
