You should still be good to go with the cam you have as it will still get you freeview, unless your looking for CS

Hello, just returned home after some time away.
Pulled my old ITGATE out of the attic there the other night with the idea of binning it as I've to do a bit of a clean out.
But thought I'd just check to see if the Nacra problems from 3 years ago are solved?
I see a new image there in the downloads .. will it make the box work on irish N*L cable these days?
Thanks
Vida
Hello again,
Its nice that someone likes my previous post (?)
But I'm still hoping for an actual answer...
I see a download relating to the hypercam V8 for Ireland.
But the link no longer works in rapidshare.
Its a TGC220 that I have. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Vida
Hi Vida, there is no way around nagra 3 yet,if you want to get a sat tuner for the box you can get plenty of freeview, otherwise you will have to go the cs route

Hi Sinno,
Thanks for that.
So its nacra 3 here is it? Right... I had lost track of the versions.. when I saw info about the nacra 2 fix I got all excited.. sigh..
I suppose I'll have to see if anyone would buy the old box so...
Sorry, what do you mean by the cs route?
Thanks
Vida

Hey,
I don't suppose I could use this as a terrestrial freeview receiver could I?
Think its MPEG 4 here...
Thanks
Vida
you would require a different tuner and it would work
