if u no how to work them on mmds but if u dont leave well alone u might b able to help someone out who has an mmds system by getting one 4 them if they were 4 nothing
This is a discussion on ITGate Boxes within the Itgate forums, part of the DVB Cable Discussions category; I have been offered two ITGate boxes by someone that bought them ...
I have been offered two ITGate boxes by someone that bought them and then discovered that his signal was ch*rus mmds.
I know they are not currently working on n*l but was wondering if they are worth taking?

Sorry what i meant is the ItGate boxes don't work on mmds and when he moved to an area that was chor*s mmds the boxes were useless to him.
They would have been working fine on n*l until the switchover. So i guess my question is will there be a fix out for them anytime soon?
it depends on how much they want 4 them if it was a fare price get them u never no whats around the corner i think there will b a fix b4 the year is out there has 2b all the sites that sell boxes have pumped 2 much money in 2 them when it hits the uk someone will find a fix if not then a lot of sites will b clossing down and i dont think that will happen 2 much money at stake. ps i am going 2 try out your garlic potato sounds yummy

They are just giving me them, they don't want them, even if there is a fix they won't work on mmds anyway.
they are supposed to be releasing the new version of hypercam so that would give the irish users back channels, its up to you if you want to chance it
You should probably sell them Eva or keep them until they maybe sort out a fix for them??
Isn't the support alright-ish for them. I know obviously not that great cos they're not working now but they might in the not so distant future....

Are they much more complicated than the other boxes to sort out, i've only ever done Starviews and the Replay Lite?
I don't know myself as I haven't got one but I was looking into them a while ago as I was considering. It didn't seem like they were that hard to set up.

They're not hard to set up you can flash the same way you flash any box the only difference is inserting Cams etc where you have to FTp but I'm pretty sure it'll be no prob to you Eva![]()

It says TGM 220 on the front.
I was kind of hoping someone would post some information here for me, rather than having to go elsewhere for it![]()
