scrambled chanels on krypview A780

Hi all, newby here.

please please please can somebody help me as Im pulling my hair out and Im well and truly fed up :-(.
Ive flashed the box with 24/04/11 firmware is this the latest ????and it said success

Ive connected to tv,router and the cable so all that is fine.

I deleated chanels done a factory reset and found the area I live in and scanned for chaneles ,all the channels came up in screen but the only ones that work is the free ones.

Can somebody please tel me what Im doing wrong before I jump off a cliff.

no thats an old firmware now,you will need to do a s/w update to get the latest update online
menu.........installation............s/w update
all done on remote dont touch anything while box is updating and installing and box reboots,when done a factory reset and rescan without lan is needed
insert lan after channels are found and reboot box modem and router as in off for 30 secs then on to get an ip address
