Stuck on scan

Hi all Ive been stuck on every step so far but Im nearly there,Ive done the sw update Ive set back to factory setting and Ive deleated all channels.

Now Im trying to scan but Im only finding 11 channels ,I found yesterday somewhere in the settings where I can find my area code in bristol but I cant find it anymore for the life of me.

Can someone help me get to the end of this problem please ?

you can try and scan on a few different areas to get the best
channel list, do a factory default before new scan to delete old channel list.
you will get the list of areas up again to choose from.

If you dont it will say " already exists" and you will go round in circles.

I am scanning out of manchester but I am in the liverpool area !

It is not always the nearest area to you gives the full channel list

Hi thanks for reply.I will try that tomorrow as Im off to work in a min ,Yesterday I managed to find an option where I found my area in a list of all citys and I picked the one out that was my area and it did find loads of channels however I haddnt done the sw update but I have now but cant remember how I got that list up.Can you tel me how to get up ?

No not yet I did find a option to pick my town from a list but cant remeber how I did it do you know because when I did that yesterday I found all the channels but I diddnt do the sw scan so had to start again but now I cant remeber how I got the list do you know please say yes
