Was emptying a lot of stuff off my Creative MP3 player to put some new stuff on, I came across some great music, some unexpected, and some just plain weird. today for instance , I listened to U2 rattle and hum for the first time in years, I listened to the latest Red hot chile peppers best of, and, I am ashamed to say, Belinda Carlisle' greatest hits, and get this - sang along to most of it, how sad am I????

From the album Trinity Sessions, recorded in Church of the Holy Trinity in Toronto, with the band gathered around one microphone hooked to a DAT, sounds stunning on vinyl, this is the way music should be, no compression, filtering, or auto tune.

Aside from the frog, I often wondered who recorded this track, & the nicest vocal version I could find was by a guy called Andy Hallett. I never heard of the man, but he was adored by many apparently. The track was part of a TV show called "Angel" which aired between 200 - 2004. He also graced the Queen Mary on many a cruise entertaining the passengers with his great voice and magical smile.



Unfortunately he passed away on the 29th March 2009 at the age of 33 following a 5 year battle with heart disease R.I.P.
