Boyzone to finish Stephen Gately's book

The remaining members of Boyzone have vowed to complete a book that their band-mate Stephen Gately was writing.

According to Now, the singer had been working on children's fantasy novel 'The Tree of Seasons' for three years before his death last week.

Speaking at his funeral, Ronan Keating, 32, said in his eulogy: "He was putting the finishing touches to his book. There are only a few pages left.

"By hook or by crook, those who loved him, and there's so many in this room, we're going to finish that book."

The band is expected to finish the Boyzone album they'd been working on and will release it next year in Gately's memory.

There are also plans to stage a charity tribute concert in Dublin.

    Had read about this noely,
Have to say, what with the Beautiful send off from his fellow band members, sitting in the church keeping him company, all the folk keeping vigil outside, the locals doing their utmost to get things ready and bringing hot drinks and sandwiches to others.
a lot of nations could pay heed to the way the Irish rallied around and looked after their own, especially with whats going on in this country at the moment.
The last week has made me feel proud to be among them, we might be down as a nation, but we will never be broken as a people!

No point in leaving it unfinished & they were close enough for the lads to know his train of thought I'm sure.

    It's a fitting tribute really.
