Two dead after Dublin gun attack

Two men have died following a double shooting in Dublin city centre.


The shooting happened just before 7pm at Pearse House on Pearse Street.
It is understood a number of men burst into a ground floor flat and fired at least three shots at the men.





One of the victims was taken to St James's hospital with a gunshot wound to the head and was later pronounced dead.
The second man was taken to St Vincent's Hospital with gunshot wounds to the chest but also died from his injuries.


The area around Pearse House has been sealed off and the scene preserved.
Four people have been arrested in connection with the shooting.


The four, three men and a woman, were arrested in the city centre and in Finglas.
Two of the men are in their 40s and the third man and the woman are both in their 20s.


They are being held at four garda stations around the capital.

it just never stops does it? these people have no respect for life, and they dont really care if you or i happen to get in their way.

hope they got them bang to rites they cant keep getting away with this

hope the barstewards that did it get caught.

They dont give a fook wheelo, thats 3 in the last two days.

when is something going to be done to stop this endless taking of life.

the one yesterday, was a right scumbag, he danced on a mans head and left him brain damaged for spilling some drink on him.

I know the one yesterday, he`s from around here & was already shot last year.
He`s just back from a holiday in the sun.
