A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder over the death of a woman run over by her own car.
Lynda Hankey, 42, died as she stood in front of the MG in a bid to stop it being stolen from outside her house in Wigan, Greater Manchester.
The car pulled away and hit her, throwing her onto the bonnet.
Assistant Chief Constable Ian Hopkins of Greater Manchester Police said that as a result of information from the public the car had been found and a local man had now been arrested on suspicion of murder.
"But we believe there may be othrs involved and I would urge them to do the right thing and give themselves up," he said.
