Middle Abbey Street reopens after Dublin fire

Several units of Dublin Fire Brigade fighters spent the night battling a blaze at the New York launderette in Dublin city centre.


It broke out at the building on Middle Abbey Street just before 9pm last night.


There were no reports of any injuries and the street has since re-opened.

must have been very serious to close the street all night, even the luas would have been affected. there would have been alot of chemicals in there, lucky noone was hurt, a radio report says they are treating it as suspicious.

Is there a head shop next door?

was thinking that meself Noel, before I seen this, was thinking it was another head shop

The luas was effected wheelo. I had to walk from smithfield to the North wall

now thats a bummer of a walk, shoulda used the buses (*wheelo fixes his Dublin Bus Tie*)
