Wooshbuild Support Thread

you can remove wbconfig from plugins and then add it again.

Green -> Red -> WooshBuild -> WB Config -> OK -> Yes
Exit once
Green -> WooshBuild -> WB Config -> OK -> Yes

Then restart your box.
 
Thanks Wooshman, just done it, WB Config is now 1.040

However, after changing "Show Irish Bouquet" to yes and doing a Chanel scan, they're still not there. Don't know what I'm doing wrong

When / if the channels are back to normal nothing has to be done to WooshBuild, your normal nightly scan should sort it out. In the meantime use the WB TV bouquet for ease.

Hi woosh , this didnt work for me either , i did notice my wooshbuild version is a slightly older v5 1.17 or something like that, but i do like the 3bar now and next epg will that go if a update is done , i also dont have a wooshbuild boquet how do i get ? and is it poss for u to elaborate on if not wanting to update but to get these channels back by deleting the WB plugin and reinstalling ...how does that work , cheers
 
Ah I see. I'm not home at the moment by one of my family members is messaging me telling me this is coming up and only free view channels.
 
Oh, in that case it could be a message to say your internet isn't working if you've only got free view channels!

In any event, it's a message generated from the WB Config.

Got bored and made re-flashing WooshBuild more entertaining.

Prerequisites
WooshBuild does not have the Slyk HD skin pre-installed nor is it available in the plugins. You will need to install, configure and update it manually. If you backup your settings using the Slyk skin and then restore them in WB 6 you will end up with the OpenATV default skin. We it recommended that you switch your skin to SkyWB before you backup your settings and update.

You should always have a copy of your line safe and away from your box. Upgrading will not delete recordings.
If you are running IPTV ensure you have details on how to add it again - we are not responsible for lost lines or IPTV.

1. From full screen TV, press the green button to open the plugins screen and select WB Config
2. As you look down the list of options you will see at the very bottom the option to update to WB v6
3. Highlight "Upgrade to WooshBuild v6.xxx" and press the OK button.
4. Follow the onscreen prompts.
5. Once the latest version of WooshBuild has downloaded and flashed, return to WB Config and restore your settings (which you may have created before flashing)

If you don't have the upgrade option then you can use the re-flash option and it will update anyway.

It is that simple and takes 5 minutes.

Main Testers: We don't just upload WooshBuild and keep our fingers crossed (not always) but have weeks / months of testing on our own boxes to see how things are going to run. Two main testers are Djgarf and Contracts34, they get the super early versions and break them, we fix it and they beak it, they break it and we ignore them for a day or two. Without the input from these two we would miss little bits that in the end make WB better for everyone. Of course Benijofar is a main tester too but also much more.

Forum posters: Big Drinks appears from no where, posts an answer and helps users, then vanishes again. Makido, goes that extra mile to help users, so much so their box will be flashed and tested before giving an answer. Again, Djgarf and contracts do exactly the same and hopefully know how much help that is to us.

A new team member: They will kill me for this but has been behind the scenes for too long now. Makido has been busy putting WB on the Vu+ Solo2 and Duo2 boxes. Sounds easy really when you say it quickly, shame it isn't so quick to do and then get ready for users. Did I mention the cost? Why do you think we haven't released it on the boxes before, sod off they cost a fortune!

Thanks to everyone who uses WooshBuild, it wasn't ever made to be what it is today, but here we are and don't suppose we can go backwards. There is a bit more to come in v6 which gives more user control and some nice little additions and a couple of silly ones too and we will get that added as soon as we can.

Guys... I'm blue in the face emailing the woosh recommended guy for purchase of a sub for IPTV for the woosh recommended plugin. Has he left the planet??

Another issue i'm having is when I type a page number on the remote it takes me to a completely different channel, for instance if I press 101 it changes the channel to 624

Please note that page 10 of this thread is a little screwed at the moment. A lot of posts are from a month ago but appear after the WooshBuild 6 post I made.

Where have the posts gone - Deleted to get the thread back under control. To many posts about missing channels, to many posts about updating WB Config, to many repeat posts. The FAQs answer most questions and due to WooshBuild v6 being available it will bring everything up to date.
 
Hi Woosh, i'm on 5.003 and i'm trying to upgrade to 6 uysing WBConfig but it just continually downloads the zip file.. Once it's got it it goes back to the start and says "We are abotu to start the process blah blah " and downloads it again.. and then again .. it never actually flashes it.. Any ideas before i do a full wipe?
