Weak Signal on some HD Channels

Just cancelled sky..... Had to pay £39.25 early repayment charge which I thought wasn't too bad considering the contract doesn't end till late November.

Just need to speak with VM now, hopefully they won't try and charge for an engineer visit. Will take the lowest package including TV and then just remove tivo box and plug the feed into the VU+.

Just pray this finally solves my issues :(y):
 
with the package your gonna get, they wont charge for a engineer, all part of the service.

I would still be inclined to rip out as much as possible for a new clean install.
 
Let us know how you get on to see if it solves your issues you never know someone else could be having the same issues etc all here to help each other aint a bad thing in my eyes
 
Don’t ask the engineer for any items for your cs box as this will raise concern which is what we don’t need ;)
Splitters & cables are readily available at very little money :(y):
 
There coming out in a few weeksto install, will strip everything back to the brown box. I'll report back, thanks for all the help.

there will be a £20 activation charge on your service
this will be on your first bill
 
Hopefully they will boost the signal enough so that the hdu won’t be needed and I can sell it. If this is the case which splitter should I replace it with?
 
They've been and the engineer tested the cabling and said it was faulty and a repull is required, this won’t happen for at least two weeks apparently!!

At least I now I was never going to fix the issue as it was down to the cabling coming to the property.
