Ford radio 6000 rds eon unlock locked 13 lock 13

Hi have an escort with 6000 rds eon, the battery went dead so i would be very glad if you could help me with the code!
The Serial number is: M074008

4880 will be the one

This may sound stupid but i only have number 1-6. How can i type the code? Thx for helping me!

How many times have you entered the code incorrectly, sounds like you have done it allot.

Read carefully as your on your last chance at unlocking it,

Hold buttons 1 & 6 while turning radio on, keep buttons pressed for ten seconds & you get one last chance.
Some models you only need to use button 6.

Earlier models used buttons 1 & 4 but don't think will work with RDS 5000, the 1 & 6 method has worked on Traffic 7000.

If you get the chance to enter the code once more enter the code given above, MAKE SURE YOU ENTER IT CORRECTLY!!!.

Radio Code Entry

Late Four Digit Ford Radio Codes (no SELECT button)

ie. Ford 3000 Traffic, 4000RDS, 5000RDS, 6000RDS, 6006E, etc

Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display

Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press button 5 to enter.

If "LOCK 10" is shown on the display, please contact us for guidance. If the display shows "LOCK 13" code entry will not be possible, and the unit will need to be electronically decoded by a car radio servicing specialist.

ie. Ford 2005, 2006, 2015, etc

Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display.

If CODE does not appear immediately, press the SELECT button momentarily, and CODE should then appear on the display.

Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press the "SELECT" button to enter.

Ahhh... Tobbe, as your radio is displaying lock 13, it is now permanently locked and will not accept any further code entries.. The only way to unlock this is by using an electronic unlocking tool, costs around £100 and is used by radio decoders. Tbh, most radio decoders will charge around £20 to unlock. If it's more convenient... sourcing a used unit from autosalvage will be as cheap.
