ideas please

having friends over for a meal, starter is

scollops served in a roasted hazel nut, parsley and corriandar butter served in the shells.

now main i can`t work out.

pudding a apple and blackberry pie with home made custard.

ideas for main would help was thinking a nice steak, or even a rabbit stew.

Probably a little late now anyway but if you start with scallops a great main is as follows:
BBQ Scotch Fillet with rocket and semi dried tomatoes with a homemade potato salad.

Had this not long ago and went down a treat.

ps: a good tip for the fillet is 3 mins on one side and 1 min on other, a great rare/med way to cook it.

another good one would have been pan fried Sea Bass with a parsnip puree and red wine and port reduction
