    Default simple batter

    10 floz of sparkling water i use{ S. PELLEGRINO)

    125g of plain flour or enough so its a nice thick consistentcy.

    salt, pepper.

    whisk to a smooth batter,

    enjoy allways works for me.

    sounds like a great batter. Do you use it for onion rings or chicken or what?

    Try using sr flour instead of plain.Let the batter stand for a few hours,in a cool place in the kitchen.

    1/2 oz fresh yeast
    300ml beeror use water (luke warm)
    8oz flour shopping lis
    1 tsp salt n pepper
    mix together and leave for about 30 min
    crispiest batter ever
