i would like a section for the for the above please like a section for newbies who dont know anything about linux sat and cable boxes.firmware i believe are made by different firms,and u still cant update by null modem cable ,done by ftp.

I dont know what you mean,,, as you know the 9000 works sat and cable,
satellite has never been a problem
cable is fixed, i can see picture today
but images for this box a much more pain in to do, so probably be tommorow before i can release an image for them,

i would say everything out of date that is why a lot of things not working on sat side either,probably changed something again ,
no worries when its done its done,got the sky hd to compare with it,pity no hd cable yet
