    hi folks, i hope this is the right fourm, i have searched around and have not seen anything, aldi have a 42in lcd 1080p tevion brand tv on sale next week, has anyone got any views on it please.

    Hey Flutered,
    for the money you are paying, this, in my opinion, is not a bad bit of kit. if you are on a budget, then you can't go too far wrong with this. The good thing about buying it in Aldi is that it comes with a 3 year warranty, and they are quite good at replacing/ returning your money.
    I am not too good on the specs side of things, if anyone is, here they are..

    thanks wheelo, i can get a 42in plasma form currys for 400, also a panasonic viera 42in plasma for 460 from soundstore, the viera has a 12 month warranty, the 80 lids is not here or there, 4-6 hours a day is the max we watch tv, as you say the 3 year warranty stands out, the sound for me is the most important, we have a 32in lg, with hidden speakers, the sound goes down to the floor, it is the biggest drawback

    Well, what I could suggest is that you buy one, rig it up, and if you don't like it, you can return within 30 days (I think it is 30, no less than 2 weeks) and they will refund you

    hi wheelo, i did not i bought a watch instead, it cost 550 euro, btw i am a watch addict, i have about 125 of them.

    Me too, not got that many though, I have about 30or so. My wife bought me a Tag for my 40th, love it
