Motorised dishes

Does anyone know anything about the motorised dishes are they any good? how do they work do they change from satellite to satellite or what's the story.

With fixed dishes you need an LNB per satellite you want to receive, so if you have say four LNBs on one dish you will receive four sats whereas with a motorised dish you can receive any amount of satellites you like with one dish and one LNB. Be aware if you change a channel on your receiver and it's on a different satellite from the previous channel you were watching there will be a delay in the channel appearing whilst the dish realignes itself to the appropriate satellite.

i thought a motorised dish was very expensive but you can pick them up on ebay for just over £100
