Does the SV HD Combo have stability issues?

Hi all,

I am considering purchasing a HD Combo box but have heard that it has stability issues. I intend to use it with Virmin in the midlands area.

However I have read and heard that there are stabilty issues with the firmware currently with this box, is this so?

Any advise is appreciated.

Hi I have the combo unit and have the latest carling file no issues what so ever works well on cable and sat quality is good and it's an easy user friendly unit

Anyone else have anything to say about stability?

Had mine in now about 2 months, So far so good, The live football can get a bit glitchy, the odd scrambled channel will appear then back to normal. But thats the lan side of the box really.
The picture is pretty good, only got 5ish HD channels no Sly sports or movies HD as yet.
The only thing that has happened to me hardware wise was a complete loss in strenth and signal. Defo box as broadband was ok. A simple switch off and on fixed it. So now I switch off every night.

On the whole, well worth it, but if yr not going down the sat route as well , I would go for the SV6 or 7.
