Hi babs, well the best one to get is obviously the iPad 3 however if you just want an iPad for the sake of having one you should get a good deal on a second hand iPad 2 considering over 3 million iPad 3s have already been sold since its release, people are bound to be competing with each other for a quick sale.

At the moment dont go for the ipad 3 i saw something on watchdog that there a few probs and to be honest depends on what u want it for if its just like me to play with the as axxxo said go fir the ipad 2 ad it will be cheaper also consider if you meed just the wifi or 3 g model which is more expensive plus not sure if u can do pay as you go or contract. Ive got ipad1 and its good enough use it mainly for internet and game play

My personal choice out of all the options weather it be a v2 or v3 would be


Black (Because it's timeless & much more sought after when it comes to resale)

16GB (Because it's more than enough storage for use on the fly and data is easily transferred to a larger storage such as an external HDD at a much less cost per GB) Let's face it, It's a mobile device as such and designed for such. Even at the 64GB end the ridiculous cost involved for such a small storage space in today's world is both white collar crime on Apples part & useless when compared to the cost of a 1TB HDD.

Wireless (Because the 3\4G options are just to expensive to service via contract & the iPad can easily be tethered to the iPhone and used that way saving the need for a second contract. I'd say a large percentage of iPad owners also own a iPhone)


I own neither, but logic tells me that the above is the best option as far as bang for buck goes. People tend to always go for the top model & Apples marketing people are very aware of the need to keep up with the Jones-es. It's a mobile device, if you need power and storage? buy a Desktop

Realistically speaking, look what Apple want for 64GB of storage, I know too it's a lot more than just a storage device, but seriously, how much is a 64GB 'Pen Drive?

hi i have the ipad a while now but today it is saying no wifi connection can anyone help with this problem thank you

babs do you usually pik up wifi in your home? could be that you need to move to a different area if the wifi is blocked. Which ipad version did you get the wifi or 3g?

Have you tried switching on/off and have you updated or synced to anything before wifi went off. is wifi working on other items in the home

fully agree. plus theres no video content that can really test the screen to its best ability. You're not going to use a big ipad as a camera so again thats pointless. id say stick with an ipad 2. til ipad 4 this xmas
